		<description>This is so important, Sarah.  Many banks will let high schoolers open checking accounts.  My kids learned to write checks when I paid the bills. I taught them how to fill out deposit slips and read bank statements.  Now, my thirteen year old daughter manages her account online through ING Direct.  Since it is linked to mine, I can monitor it.  She earns money by working for her CEO older sister.</description>
