I was watching a video today from Steve Harrison about publicity and I got so excited about what he was talking about that I took some notes.  (Click here to see what he said or just enjoy my notes).

just a HOOK to grab the media

just about WORKING HARD and being PERSISTENT!

At this point, I began to wonder…WELL WHAT IS IT THEN?

The SECRET is to overcome the GREATEST barrier to getting the media!

GET OFF their DESK and IN their SPACE!  Go meet them!

Yes – Steven then went on to give the reasons why everyone should come to his National Publicity Summit that is coming up soon but even if he wasn’t selling something, the truth remains.  If you want to get publicity, you have to be willing to somehow overcome the barrier that keeps the info/e-mail/or phone message from being replied to.
